restorative yoga

Open your heart and your mind to the possibility of doing more by doing less!

Restorative Yoga is a practice of letting go.  It is a deeply relaxing and rejuvenating experience.

This form of Yoga is complimentary to all forms of movement.  It is good to balance a fast-paced lifestyle with a slower, more relaxing experience of Restorative Yoga.  The physical body is very happy with a quiet class such as this; and with that, the mind is at ease.

By the warm glow of candlelight, through the use of different props (bolsters, blankets, blocks, chairs, sandbags, straps, eye pillows) move from one supported pose to another, resting in each for an extended period of time (5-30 minutes) to open typically closed areas of the body.  Let go of tension and surrender your physical body to the force of gravity.  In addition to passively stretching your muscles, Restorative Yoga begins to release the connective tissues in your body that tend to become constricted as a result of not utilizing your full range of motion. Soothe the parasympathetic nervous system through a practice of Restorative Yoga.
Still your body, quiet your mind.

Aromatherapy & Positive Affirmations Included.
